Small passenger aircraft crashes at Cork airport, Ireland

Six people were killed, another six injured when the Metroliner SW4 crashed at Cork airport in heavy fog thursday. On board there were 10 passengers and two crew. At the third attemp for a landing disaster struck, the plane turned over and caught fire. The Metroliner was en route from Belfast to Cork in the south of Ireland.

The accident will be investigated by the Irish department of transport.
