AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, is pleased to announce that it has sold two more AW139 medium twin helicopters to customers in India. Adani Group has signed a contract for one AW139 to perform VIP/corporate transport missions as well as another corporate customer.
Emilio Dalmasso, Senior Vice President Commercial Business Unit, AgustaWestland said “We are happy to have received these latest orders which bring the total number of AW139s sold in India to almost 20 and continues the success achieved by AgustaWestland’s range of helicopters in the Indian commercial market.“ The company is proud to have been doing business in India for 40 years and in the last five years over 50 commercial aircraft have been sold comprising AW119Ke single engine, AW109 Power, Grand and GrandNew light twin engine and AW139 medium twin engine helicopters.
