Embraer will participate in the tenth European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE), at the Geneva Palexpo Exhibition Center, Switzerland, May 4-6. Embraer’s stand number 7040 will be located at Hall 7.

A press conference has been scheduled for Monday, May 3, in Hall 7 (Room 1), at 3:00 p.m., hosted by Luís Carlos Affonso, Embraer Executive Vice President, Executive Jets. The focus is on the Company’s most recent achievements in product programs, as well as developments in customer support solutions.

The family of Embraer Executive Jets has achieved new milestones this year. The development of the new midlight Legacy 450 and midsize Legacy 500 jets moves steadily ahead, and the first metal cut was performed on April 19. The first quarter was marked by the consolidation of the production of the Phenom jets, with the Phenom 300 entering operation. In a little over a year, Embraer manufactured and delivered 100 Phenom 100 airplanes. In April, the two Embraer Executive Jet Service Centers in the U.S. (Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Mesa, Arizona) earned the 2010 Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Diamond award, its highest recognition for excellence in aviation maintenance training.
