June 16, 2009, Paris – Today as part of the International Paris Air Show, the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company and the Investment Financial Company Avialeasing announced the signature of the contract for the delivery of 24 Sukhoi Superjet 100/95B aircraft. The contract, fixing agreements reached last year at Farnborough, is valued at 715 mln. USD in catalogue prices.

Under the Contract signed by Victor Soubbotin, President of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, and Victor Novikov, Vice-president of Avialeasing, SSJ100s will be delivered through 2011-2013.

“An aspiration to become more efficient in times of crisis is not a managerial whim. Instead, it is a passport to Company’s sustainability in the market today and growth in the future – when the economic recovery will start gaining momentum. Our aircraft is now running a vigorous certification campaign, and the results obtained so far give us confidence in the fact that Sukhoi Superjet 100 will become an essential tool for efficiency boost and a long-term liquid asset for a leasing company”, said Victor Soubbotin during the signing ceremony.

“I believe that despite the crisis fleet renewals are a must for air carriers. We expect that by 2011-2013 – the time when we start receiving Sukhoi Superjet 100s – the air transportation market will begin to stabilize. Sukhoi Superjet 100 in our view is the only viable competitor to the Western products at the domestic market. That’s why Avialeasing binds its future with the upgrading of Russian airlines’ fleet with the new Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional aircraft”, said Victor Novikov.

Currently the firm order portfolio for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft totals 122 units.
